You see before I got wind of this plugin I was constantly worrying about going over ISO 1600 on my Canon 7D. Even though most of you might say that this cameras noise levels are actually quite low, we all know that beyond ISO 1600 things can get a bit tricky. So when your clients demand quality and you’re shooting in the dark and on a tight deadline, you’re left with little room but pushing it ever higher.
NeatVideo, works wonders! I use it for Premiere Pro 5.5 and its blazing fast. In fact, it seems to render real-time for most editing I do at 1080p (Canon) on my GTX580! Unlike most methods or plugins I have tried before the image comes out looking very natural. NeatVideo also has a plethora of settings and customizations you can use to get the best possible result. That, or you can use their automatic algorithm to figure it out for you, in a snap!

It’s been a very hectic few weeks as I try to organize and train for my 25 day trek through the Indian Himalayas. I’ve been doing 104 storeys of stairs with a 22lb backpack! Next I up the weight and do at least 26 more stairs.
We are attempting to get funding together for the filming of a documentary about our trek and will soon have a video pitch on kickstarter.com, so I’ll keep everyone posted!
